I charged my fitbit luxe last night, it was at 50%. When i took it out of the charger (about an hour after), it was no longer responding (no light). i tried resetting it via the charger, but did not work. I just bought it on oct 4 2023 via amazon, and amazon said to contact you first. Please help.

Hi there, @EUV. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Luxe is not responding despite the steps you've tried so far. Thanks for already trying to contact Amazon, I understand where your concern is coming from. I'll do my best to get you back on track!
As per the description of your post, it seems like your Luxe might have gone flat with the battery even if you saw it being at 50%.
Sometimes a Fitbit doesn’t seem to be charging when actually the issue is that it has become unresponsive (this can happen if the battery has been allowed to discharge completely). I'd recommend putting it on to charge on a charging wire and outlet known to be working. Leave it on the charger for a good two hours, even if it doesn’t seem to be charging.
When it has had two hours, try restarting your Luxe once again. I would recommend trying this maybe twice in a row if a first try doesn’t work.
Hope this helps!
