I bought my Luxe in November 2022 and wore it in the pool for the first time on 7/22/23. Now, it is unresponsive to screen taps. I tried to reset using the given method with not luck. Put it in rice overnight and was able to get it to charge and respond but only while on the charger. Unable to wear it and the battery drained from 100% to 60% while sitting on the counter in a matter of 4 hours. This is very upsetting as the unit is not even a year old. Can anyone suggest anything that might work?

Hi, @LindaMiller , it sounds like the rice treatment improved it, but 24 hours may not have been enough, and water inside the device may be causing the battery to short. I would suggest putting it back in rice and leaving it there another 24-48 hours.
As your device is less than a year old, you may want to discuss this with Fitbit Customer Support. You can reach them on Contact.fitbit.com .

Same thing here! Mines about 1-1/2 yrs old wore it every day in the shower and swimming - no problems until just before I updated this last firmware update. The screen first froze on the time and date - could not swipe at all. Then I saw the update and thought that must be the problem so I did the update. Then the screen went blank and wouldn’t do anything! I’ve tried restarting it, restarting my phone, turning off/on Bluetooth, talked to Fitbit customer service, deleted the luxe on bluetooth and restarted everything, re-paired luxe with my phone, re-installed update and it finally worked again like new….for about a day - now nothing again - tried everything again but no luck - also my battery is like yours - goes from 100% to 60 or lower in no time without the screen even working - the only saving grace is that it is still tracking everything bcuz I can see it all in my app. Also, in the app it still pops up that notice that I need to update but I can see it has the latest version in it on my app.
