Hi there, @AR77. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Luxe's screen is still blank even after all the steps you've tried so far. Let's bring it to life!

Something that came into my mind is that maybe it just ran out of battery? Please note that sometimes a Fitbit doesn’t seem to be charging when actually the issue is that it has become unresponsive (this can happen if the battery has been allowed to discharge completely). I'd recommend putting it on to charge on a charging wire and outlet known to be working.  Leave it on the charger for a good two hours, even if it doesn’t seem to be charging.

When it has had two hours, try restarting your LuxeI would recommend trying this maybe twice in a row if a first try doesn’t work. Let me know how it goes!

@Jrow Welcome on board! I'm sorry to hear that your Fitbit device is unresponsive too. I'll do my best to help you with this.

If you haven't done so yet, please restart your Fitbit device as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

Hope that helps!

Mine is in the trash.  I just couldn't handle it anymore ever since the update.  It would turn off 4 steps before I got to my set goal.  I did everything.  Reset it several times, moved to Google and even deleted everything and it still did the same thing only would shut off more often.  I bought a 3DFitBud that I wear on my waist and it counts my steps.  If I couldn't trust the FitBit steps how could I trust the other information?  I'm less stressed now that I'm not fighting with a FitBit Luxe !!!

Maria,

It was at 38% when I hooked it up the charger yesterday. It flashed once like it does when you hook to charger. Nothing else since. I've tried the restart function with the charger ie, pressing the charger button 3 times. I've done that several times and it just won't do anything. I have A-Fib and need this device to work so I can keep track of what my heart is doing. My app says my Luxe is charged 100% but it is unresponsive.

I tried the change watch face method you suggested but the install option doesn't come up on the faces available. The install option does come up with 3 other faces but they all say unavailable.

Please help!

Hi Maree, thank you - I tried this. After 3 presses now what happens is that screen flashes really briefly and then goes dark again.  So some minor progress but still not working. The app is showing it isnt connected and cant find the fitbit.

any other suggestions are very welcome!

None of this works.  My luxe is blank.  Charging for 3 hours now. Nothing.  My luxe is clean, I have done the reset on the USB several times, nothing.  I have changed to different wall plugs. Nothing. This fitbit didn't last very long.  According to all the issues, it must be a garbage watch.  I called support and they advised everything that I have already done.  There are so many times this watch didn't sync properly or wouldn't stay on since I bought it.  So disappointed!!!

This is exactly what has happened with my luxe too🫣. My battery life has never been good. I've tried all the fixes on this thread but nothing works.

This is my story too. I counted on it for swimming and I’m thinking it isn’t truly waterproof. I had a Flex that lasted six years - including swimming. The Luxe only lasted four months

mine just did the same thing, received it new November 1st, 2023 & already not working

They did send me a replacement in a box, just the clock face.  Nothing else.  It was good service but I was disappointed it was a refurbished replacement.  I got 4 months and 3 days from my original fitbit so I am sceptical that a refurbished one will last as long.  Have to wait and see.  Sent from my Galaxy

Had the old fitbit Alta for years, too. Switch to Luxe and it started dying after the 1 year warranty. Literally a huge junk-like downgrade. They gave me a 35% off coupon to repurchase because my warranty passed, but not gonna use it. Gonna move on. Not sure to what but at least to something that lasts more than a year. I have data since 2019, so I am sad to see this no longer updated. But still, I am pretty bitter about their service. So am ranting on the forums.... 😞

Call the support line, They will get you to try several things to get your fitbit to work.  Change the clock face or use a new usb plug,  defective charger plug or just needs to be cleaned.  The back of the watch gets a lot of film build up on  if you wear it all the time. The little dots on back of watch get really dirty and covered with buildup so the charger is not connecting properly. When  I could not get mine to charge, I had to clean it with rubbing alcohol to remove any buildup and make sure watch and charger were connecting. And it always worked good after being cleaned.  Could be something simple.  There seems to be so many issues with the fitbit watches, I wish I had read all the reviews first.  Good Luck. Sent from my Galaxy

Thanks. I did go to support and they replaced it. I’m going to try to
“Baby” this one. But I do wear it swimming and recording my time and
distance is motivating to me. I’m not sure the Luxe is up to frequent use
in water. Ultimately that’s what I want/need.
