Luxe won't show sleep stages

Hello there. I've just started using the Luxe 2 weeks ago and been wearing it to sleep. So far it has only managed to show sleep stages on 4 nights, with others just showing sleep timeline but not stages.

Does anyone know how to rectify that? I have restarted my Luxe but it didn't help. Thank you!

Hi there, @Octaviani. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the screenshot attached. I'm sorry to hear that your Luxe is not tracking your sleep data. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

I recommend considering the following in order to get sleep stages:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

For more information, see What should I know about Fitbit sleep stages?

Hello,

Thank you for your reply. I've worn my fitbit about 2 finger width from the wristbone and still there was no reading. There had occasionally been some readings occasionally, so I don't know what I had done differently which resulted in no reading.

Also, I realise that the breathing rate is not captured.

Thank you!
