My Fitbit Luxe keeps losing Bluetooth paring even though my IPhone / IPad and Luxe are set up correctly.

Hi. New to forums but so fed up with new Luxe dropping out of Bluetooth connectivity, felt I have to join the community. Didn’t have this problem with Inspire HR, tried restarting device, tried turning off/on airplane mode on iPhone, same for Bluetooth and share notifications etc. It all works fine for about an hour but then I’ll miss a message and look in settings and see ‘not connected’. Why? What’s the point of having to keep checking my connection? I might as well not have the Luxe. I’m so disappointed 😔.

Hi, I recently discovered the same issue. I don’t see what is the point of the Luxe if I’m not going to have all the bells and whistles. I’m strongly considering returning it. So disappointed thus far with this product from Fitbit. 😤

Hi there, @SLS1956 @Homara. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Fitbit Luxe before reaching out, I understand how you must be feeling.

In addition to the steps you've tried, please try removing the Bluetooth connection between your phone and your Fitbit device:

*On your phone, tap Settings Bluetooth > the information icon next to the name of your Fitbit device > Forget This Device.
*Open the Fitbit app and set up the connection again. You should receive a message asking you to allow your Fitbit device to pair with your phone. Tap Pair to approve the request.

Sync your Luxe automatically when you open the Fitbit app or manually by tapping your profile picture > your device tile > Sync Now.

If you continue having syncing difficulties, see Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Hi this is the trouble shooting I’ve been advised before, still does not resolve the issue. Sometimes I get a few hours of syncing but then it fails and either need to reset everything or wait. When it is working it’s great. But very unpredictable and frustrating, seems worse in the morning on first sync as can take up to 1/2 hour. If I check the Bluetooth connection I can see it toggling on and off every few seconds. Is there a fix for this coming?

I have had to do this everyday and usually multiple times a day. Very frustrating. I ended up reconnecting my old ONE as this Luxe has been so disappointing. Also it should keep your steps whether it is paired to your phone or not- my One does. Hope Fitbit steps up and quickly fixes these issues, especially when we had to wait so long to get them.

This is stupid. Every day I have to reconnect my Bluetooth. My inspire HR never had this issue but the technology got “old “ and stopped working properly hmmmm. Highly disappointed in the fact that moderator has reached her limits of being able to help. How about FIXING THE PROBLEM!

I’m having the same issue. I have to check the connections to Bluetooth multiple times a day. I’ve found that the quickest way to sort it as pairing doesn’t always work. Is go into display setting on the fitbit and hit restart this seems to sort it temporarily. I’ve try all the other ways too!!!

Forget this device erases all the data since the last sync. What’s the point of having a Fitbit if it won’t connect properly? This is very frustrating. I did not have this problem with the Inspire HR.

From what I've been able to tell with mine, it will only connect to my iPhone (12 pro with IOS 15.1) via Bluetooth when the Luxe screen is actually lit.

I can tap it repeatedly to keep it lit and it will maintain that Bluetooth connection but the minute I let it go to sleep, the connection drops.

This affects notifications for me. If my watch is asleep, connection is lost and no notifications come through. If I repeatedly tap my screen to keep the watch lit, then call/text notifications will come through.

This is NOT useful from a notification standpoint. I really want my watch to stay connected to my phone ALL the time and not just those rare moments when I have my screen lit.
