Hi there, @Rondeyc. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'm sorry to hear that your Luxe is not syncing nor showing the correct time. I understand your concern, we're here to help you!

As @Gr4ndp4 has mentioned, the time will be wrong until you manage to sync your Luxe as your Fitbit device uses the time of the device you're syncing with.

With that being said, please try the troubleshooting steps from the help article that Gr4ndp4 shared with you.

If those steps don't work, I suggest trying the following in the order listed:

  • Unpair your Luxe from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Luxe.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Luxe.
  • Once your Luxe is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Luxe first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

Once you manage to sync your Luxe, the time should be corrected. Keep in mind that your Fitbit device uses the time of the device you're syncing with.

Hi there, I have the same issue. Everytime I charge my watch I have to unpaid and pair again with my phone. It is super annoying to the point I have stopped using it as can't be bothered with the effort. I have tried all the things like restarting it etc etc but only deleting and repairing works. I am about to throw mine in the bin. My watch is just over 1 year old. Grrr

Hi, @Djkelly, welcome to the community, if your device is just over a year old you may still benefit from Fitbit's return and warranty policy depending on where you are, when and from whom you bought it. Some locations (EU & UK) have a 2-year warranty. If you think you are covered contact Customer support online or via the Fitbit app.

I hope this helps.

Cheers

I have exactly the same issue. My Luxe is just over 2 years old. I have gone through ALL the recommendations and steps and it still will not synch. This is incredibly frustrating.

Did you ever get your Fitbit to correct the time & sync? Mine is doing the same thing & I've tried all the steps

I have not. I have tried every single thing. Even moving my account to
Google, which I did not want to do but was.kinda desperate for a solution.

I wish I knew if Fitbit did an update or something that is making this happen on their end bc I keep wasting time trying those steps over and over again.

Do you happen to have a Samsung? I vaguely recall reading somewhere it may
have been a Samsung update. Not sure really since I read a lot of stuff and
have also wasted a ton of time on this.

Hope we can find a solution soon or I am finding a replacement brand.

@Rondeyc Glad you're good now. How did you fix it? I've had the same problem for weeks. But my luxe is oddly 7 hours AHEAD. None of the syncing tips helped.

Sadly, I have the same problem but my luxe is 7 hours ahead. None of the steps worked. I may return it since it is under warranty.

Go to settings, Delete user data, and it reset to normal.
