Luxe won't sync and it's losing time

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi, I’ve had my Luxe since it’s release and it’s never synced with my iPhone. My prior Fitbit (charge 3) was fine. The lack of sync was annoying but only just started being a problem because the Luxe now displays the wrong time!
I’ve followed all the troubleshooting steps and nothing has worked. Please help

Hi @Banana83  you need to have at least iOS 13 to work well. Read this article for troubleshooting the syncing problem - click to go there.

I just received my brand-new Luxe and tried to sync it four times on my brand-new iPhone 13 Pro with iOS 15-point something.  After four attempts, it would not sync.  I then read the instructions to turn off Bluetooth in iPhone settings and then turn it back on.  Mission accomplished!  It worked.  Now my Luxe is synced, and now it is also updating the Luxe software at the time of this writing.  All is well!  Try turning Bluetooth off and on.  It worked for me.

@SQuinn1 It's nice to see you around the Community Forums. I understand how frustrating this can be, but I'm sure I can help. As @DCJAM has suggested, please follow the steps below:

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app on your phone. For instructions, see the Apple help article.
  2.  On your phone, go to Settings > Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth off and back on.
  3. Open the Fitbit app and try to sync your device.
  4. If your device doesn't sync, restart it. For instructions, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?

If you still If you still have trouble, please see Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Also, one more thing to add.  THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT.   I forgot to remove my olf Fitbit Alta setting when I was trying to update my new Fitbit Luxe.  You must remove the old Fitbit from the iPhone so that the new one can update.  If you have two Fitbits syncing at the same time, the update feature won't work for your new Fitbit.  Learned this after repeated attempts.  I'm all up to date now and loving my new Luxe.  It is so comfortable.  I much prefer it to my clunky, uncomfortable Apple watch.  Fitbit Luxe is my new everyday accessory!
