Luxe won't sync or pair to my iPhone anymore

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My luxe was not syncing to my iPhone app so I forgot the device on my app. I uninstalled the Fitbit app, reinstalled it, logged out of the app, logged back into the app, restarted my luxe multiple times and my app will not find my luxe. It says my device not found. Any solutions to this?

Hi there, @Brendao1010. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Luxe before reaching out.

In addition to the steps you've done so far, please try removing the Bluetooth connection between your phone and your Fitbit device:

*On your phone, tap Settings Bluetooth > the information icon next to the name of your Fitbit device > Forget This Device.
*Open the Fitbit app and set up the connection again. You should receive a message asking you to allow your Fitbit device to pair with your phone. Tap Pair to approve the request.

Sync your Luxe automatically when you open the Fitbit app or manually by tapping your profile picture > your device tile > Sync Now.

Hope that helps.

Thank yo for your response. No, this did not work.  I have forgotten the Fitbit device and unlinked it from my app. I try to Set Up A Nee Device and it will not find my luxe. I have tried resetting it by pushing the reset button three times on the charger, I have reset it on the luxe itself, and still nothing.  Is there anything else to do?

Have you tried clearing the fitbit apps cache?

Have you stopped the fitbit app, this must be done through the phone settings?

Have you shutdown the phone?

Has this Luxe ever synced through another phone that may be nearby?

We still have to fix the no sync problem before we will be able to setup the Luxe.

Removing a non sync device from the users account is almost always adding more trouble, and should not be done until the other dozen, or so, steps have been tried.

  • Hi! I have spent the past 24 hours with that same problem. Yesterday, it recorded my dog walking steps and then reverted back to my first thing in the morning steps. Last night it didn’t report my sleep. This morning, I am still on 0 steps for the day. I tried charging my FitBit, refreshing my Bluetooth, canceling the FitBit device and refreshing it again. I even tried turning off my iPad and iPhone and restarting those. So far, none of this has worked.
What do I do? This is my second FitBit and I received it as a gift this past Christmas.

What does any of that mean? How do I clear the FitBit cache?
I cleared the app and tried resetting it and I shut down both my phone and iPad. It told me that to re-synch the Luxe to my Bluetooth that it needed to be in range!?! The FitBit was on my wrist and the phone/iPad were in my hands, do they need to touch to be in range

I was at a loss as to how to fix so I tried everything. I had no idea that forgetting my device on the app would lead to other problems. I received this Fitbit in October and it has never been synced to another device or account.
Are there any other solutions to resolved this??  I am so disappointed in this product, and reading this forum, I am not alone.
would clearing my cache even matter at this point?  If not, how is that done?  I have already deleted the app and reinstalled it and still it will not find my luxe.

Someone please respond a fix! I am having the exact same issues. I got my luxe for my birthday in October. Monday, noticed it stopped tracking my cycling distance. I tried following the steps and had it forget my device, but NOW I CAN'T SETUP my device again! On top of that, it has not synced my activity IN WEEKS.

FitBit, you NEED to address this immediately. I always thought you were a reputable brand. Please fix this bug!

I've tried all the steps too:

Forced closed the app

turned Blutooth off for 3 seconds and turned it back on

restarted the device - 4 times btw

Tried resetting up the device but it gets stuck in perpetual connecting.

AM I GOING COMPLETELY MENTAL?!

Sounds like you are having the exact same problem as me. Mine stopped syncing in March and I just got it in October.
Hopefully Fitbit will have a solution soon!!  I am also at a loss as to how to fix on my own. I have tried everything I have found on line on how to fix.
