  • I workout at my gym and want to track zone minutes for fatburn. I have read that tracking zone minutes are most effective when you set to start walking(if you use the treadmill to which I do) The treadmill at my gym and it also tells me my heart rate and I monitor my heartrate consistently to make sure i would be in proper zone minutes.  I compare to my luxe fitbit when I complete my workout walk and it doesn't always equate the correct zone minutes. I find this totally frustrating for something this technical to not work. I see others with similar issues. This is unacceptable for a device special for this type of task to not even be able to do what it was made to.

Hi there, @BrittCzar. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Luxe. I understand where your concern is coming from and how you must be feeling.

Please keep in mind that your heart rate is key to getting active zone minutes. It sounds like there was a short period where your heart rate dropped below the fat burn threshold.

If you haven't done so, please restart your Luxe by following these instructions. Then, perform a new activity to see if it is recorded correctly. For information about how you earn Active Zone Minutes please visit this article.

When you are not wearing your Luxe, please make sure the green lights are pointed to the ceiling rather than at any object that could interfere with the readings.
