My Fitbit Luxe recently stopped recording distance biked. Have tried restarting the Luxe. Not sure what else to do. I see others are having same problem. It records distance walked but not distance biked🤷🏻‍:female_sign:

Hi there, @spring16. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Luxe.

As a first approach, please note for distance you will need to have your phone with you and GPS needs to be enabled.

With that being said, t
o start and stop a workout on your Luxe, follow the steps below:

  1. Swipe right or left to the Exercise app, then swipe up to find an exercise.
  2. Tap the exercise to choose it. If the exercise uses GPS, you can wait for the signal to connect, or start the exercise and GPS will connect when a signal is available. Note that GPS can take a few minutes to connect.
  3. Tap the play icon to begin the exercise, or swipe up to choose an exercise goal or adjust the settings.
  4. Tap the middle of your screen to scroll through your real-time stats. To pause your workout, swipe up and tap Pause.
  5. When you're done with your workout, swipe up and tap Pause >Finish . Your workout summary appears.
  6. Swipe up and tap Done to close the summary screen.

When you track an activity with GPS, your device calculates your distance using GPS data rather than steps. If you begin moving before you get a GPS signal, your device calculates distance using your steps until GPS connects. For more information, see How do I use GPS on my Fitbit device?

To update your stride length, track a run with GPS or measure your stride length manually. For more information, see Can I change my stride length in my Fitbit account?
