All of a sudden, my Fitbit has stopped counting steps. But it shows how many calories I’ve burnt so I know it’s still working. But it says my steps are zero. I didn’t change anything on my settings. I’m not sure how to fix this?

It sounds like your Luxe isn't syncing, that would explain why the calories burned are the only ones showing up. With that being said, I'd recommend following the troubleshooting steps provided in this help article Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
