My lux seems to have died, it is not responding on charger or to being tapped.

How long ago did you get it?  Is it still under warranty?

Yes it’s still under warranty, I bought it in may 2022

I bought mine in June 2022.

Same problems.

2 year warranty.

Entitled to a 50% refund or a 'refurbished' replacement.

The Luxe should work for longer than 4 months.

Please read through all the problems we're having and give us all some support

No amount of restarting/charging/tapping will work.

Options seem to be 50% refund or replacement which hopefully may or may not be new.  Mine wasn't.

I purchased mine through a target, I returned to store and received a refund. I liked the lux however it didn’t always respond well to tap on screen, and I know it wasn’t tracking steps correctly, but it suited my needs. I am looking to purchase a new device so am doing some research before I decide. Definitely need to purchase through a reputable seller and keep receipts.

I'm having the same problem.  I got the Luxe for Christmas. It did this to me once before but pushing the reset button the actual charger cord (USB end) fixed it.  Now its not.  Would love some help too.  Is Luxe just full of bugs?

I tried reset button but didn’t work. I guess there’s always going to be “lemons” but doesn’t mean all are bad. Just always buy somewhere you can take it back personally and deal with a human, at reputable stores.

Have you tried the fitbit reset? You need to plug it in to the charger and the charger to the wall. Then click the button on the USB side of the charger 3 times 1 second apart. My luxe needs this every few months and it is getting worse with time and this is the frozen off fix that works for me.

I'm having the same issue. Most of the suggestions refer to the reset buttons, but there are no buttons on a Luxe or on the Luxe charger?

I bought my Luxe online direct from Fitbit (shipped from Ireland) which in retrospect was a mistake as I now have no store to return it to.

What button? Do you mean actually pushing the charger prongs into the back of the Luxe?

The button is located on the USB plug itself it's a round dot in the very middle. Not the kind of place you would normally look for a button.

Thanks for that NotBob - I’ve been having the same problem - I knew about the button, but not the reset option. Fingers crossed my luxe is now charging.

Yes tried that. Wasn’t even responding to battery plug in, n I know it must have been charged. All resolved now, as received refund. Thanks

Did it work?

It didn't work instantly. I tried it a couple of times and nothing happened. A few hours later I then decided to try and start the refund process so contacted FitBit through the live chat. They asked me to check if the charging prongs were sitting at the same height. I unplugged the charger to check and when I plugged it back in it sprung into life, showing battery as 100% charged! No idea what did the trick, but thanks for you help with identifying the re-set button. I'll definitely try that again if the same thing happens again.
