Experiencing the same issues with Luxe as reported by others, including randomly turning off, loss of steps (not counting or reducing step count with refresh), battery status inconsistent between device and app. Ordered a new Luxe from ebay but considering returning it based on all the reported issues and concerns about support.
Has anyone successfully switched to Inspire 3? While still available in store, support may be provided only through June 2026. Not sure whether to switch to another Fitbit product or convert to Apple watch. I really want a simple, sleek, small tracker without smart functionality but want a product that works!
I've been a happy Fitbit customer since 2012 but not so happy now.

Hi @robynnp anything purchased from eBay has no warranty, so be prepared for that. Only devices purchased from an authorized retailer will have the Fitbit warranty.
When I was gifted with an Inspire 3, I was easily able to transition from my Luxe. Support will continue. We just have to move to a Google account by a specific time, which many have already done.

Thanks for the helpful information about moving to the Inspire 3 from Luxe.
I understand the lack of warranty with the eBay purchase, but since I haven't had great luck with the warranties in the past and price was OK, I'm ok with that risk. I'm concerned that support for all fitbits will eventually disappear since it seems to be guaranteed only through mid-2026. Still debating: maybe I'll try one more Fitbit and transition to another product when that one fails. I don't mind the Google account move but glitchy software/hardware failures are frustrating.

@robynnp Where did you read that Fitbit support may only go to mid-2026? I try to keep up with stuff like that and that is news to me.

@LZeeW It is really how long the security updates are available for discontinued devices (not technically "support"): https://support.google.com/product-documentation/answer/15181553?hl=en
"Security updates for Fitbit devices are provided for at least two years after the applicable device is last sold on Fitbit.com or the Google Store."

@robynnp Thanks for that link. I think that 2026 date deserves that asterisk, because the Inspire 3 is still sold in the Google Store. I also see a security update as being different from a general firmware update. As a long time wearer, I remember only one update that went to several models as a security update.
I hope this helps you in your decision making.
