I think the way you calculate sleep is not good, especially for restless sleepers like me. Today i have 2 sets of sleep metrics. The first, finally captured the first part of my sleep but obviously stopped when I woke up 2 hours later for the bathroom. The next metric started 2 hrs after that, and stopped again when I got up for a bathroom break. So all in all in logged only 3+ hrs of a night when I made my go to sleep goal and was in bed and in my mind asleep- but probably not good sleep, for most of the 7.5 hours (11:3o to 7). If the Current way you measure is too sensitive, then you should allow us to set it as we go to bed and turn off when we awake and capture all the info in between.

Thank you for visiting the Fitbit Community, @EBN52.
Thanks for the information provided.
Whether you have set your sleep mode to sensitive, you can try the normal mode. For information about these settings and how to switch between them, please visit this article and open the menu "What's the difference between the normal and sensitive sleep setting?".
If necessary, you can edit your sleep logs by going to the same article shared above, open the menu "How do I edit or delete sleep logs in the Fitbit app?" and follow the instructions.
There is a feature suggestion called "Begin sleep now" should actually... track when I go to sleep. You are welcome to vote it and if there is any update, it should be communicated as soon as possible.
