My activity no longer shows under friends

My Fitbit is not even a year old. I have been using Fitbits for over 10 years. This one has given me more issues than any other one. All of a sudden, it stop tracking my steps under friends. It shows no activity.

Hi @ccn57. Do you mean you no longer see your activity on the friends leaderboard? Maybe you can include a screenshot of what you're seeing. It sounds more like an app issue than a device issue.

Is your Fitbit connected to your Fitbit app? Have you tried uninstalling the Fitbit app and reinstalling it?

Same issue for me too. Suddenly says no recent activity under my friends. The fitbit is syncing and counting steps fine though.

I have deleted the app and reinstalled, It still is not working.  It is tacking my steps but shows no recent activity under friends

@ccn57 Is this the screen you are talking about? Are using Android or iOS?

@ccn57 @Kathyj28 @LMH71 I am escalating this to Fitbit. Please provide what version of Android or iOS you are using and your Fitbit app version. 

I am using iOS 16.2 and Fitbit 3.73 and I am not experiencing this issue.

Hi Yes! That’s the screen. I am at the very bottom showing no recent activity.  iOS 15.6.1 and Fitbit 3.74. Thank you!

IOS and after loading and reloading, assistant help, computer friend help nothing has changed. I can see my friends and a picture of me but by my name it says no recent activity! I’m feeling very frustrated.I think there has to be a glitch at Fitbit or this many people wouldn’t all of a sudden be experiencing this issue.

Did yours say No recently activity? I’ve been trying to get a fix from customer service and nothing works.

Hi Kathy

Yes exactly. My fitbit was showing steps and syncing fine BUT i suddenly disappeared from showing activity/steps in my friends list.

Today i clicked on my photo, scrolled down to Social and Sharing and under privacy unlocked average daily step count from statistics. And bingo, im back!!

• It’s such a relief honestly I was beside myself thinking it would never show up again. Thanks for figuring the issue out. Fitbit needs to hire the people who fix the problems they can’t. 😅
