My battery has always been terrible, but it is even worse now.

I pre-ordered my Luxe before the release last year. It was delayed multiple times because of a chip shortage. When it finally arrived I immediately started having problems. I have dealt with it because I didn't want to mess with the hassle of returning it. I had an Ulta HR before the Luxe and it had a battery that would last at least two to three days. The five day battery life was a big selling point for me. My Luxe battery has never lasted more than two days. That was annoying, but I just charged it everyday while I was showering.

Now I'm lucky if my battery lasting more than 12 hours. I have tried the restart with the 3 press charger button multiple times, and I've changed the clock face because that was recommended for a previous issue. I bought the Luxe specifically to track my sleep and heart rate, it isn't staying charged long enough to track my sleep if I charge it while showering in the morning. I'm having to charge it for at least two hours, sometimes multiple times a day. That really makes this Luxe useless.

It is also showing the batter dead in the app and the screen is non-responsive, but when I connect it to the charger it always reads somewhere between 20%-30%. I've been charging it for two hours now, it was dead when I plugged it in, but read 25% once connected. Now, after two hours it reads 27%. It was 100% charged at 11:35am yesterday, the battery died at 6:30am today. When I went to sleep the battery was at 53%, I would think it should make it through the night at that charge percentage.

Has anyone found a solution to this yet? I see there are a lot of people having the same issue, but I can't find an actual solution.

*Fitbit support, do not respond with a link to "Suggestions to extend battery life". If I purchase a product for its features, I expect to be able to use those features.

*I purchased this is 2021, not last year. I have had it since July or August of 2021. I thought I should add that because I post that I purchased it last year.

It's been 15 minutes since I posted and now the battery is showing as fully charged in the app and on the clock face. This is so frustrating!

I contacted Fitbit support after having no response on this post. They offered no solution and said that since I am outside my one year warranty window they wouldn't be able to do anything to remedy the battery issue. They offered me 35% off of a new device that has to be purchased within 30 days. All of you experiencing the same issue, don't wait to send your Luxe back thinking that there will be a solution. There will not be a solution. If your Luxe isn't staying charged longer than two days (mine never did) send it back before it starts draining in less than 24hrs. My Luxe shipped to me on July 24th, 2021 and is completely useless today. I waited as the battery problem was acknowledged by Fitbit early last year, I assumed that it was a software issue that would be corrected in an update. That is clearly not the case. Don't wait to get a replacement if you are still within the 1yr warranty period.

I posted here about my battery life not lasting 24hrs. I have been in contact with Fitbit support and thought I would share my experience here for anyone else having battery issues.
