I just got an update on my Luxe overnight with a new dashboard. The dashboard is fine but I can't find anywhere on it showing the battery charge percentage remaining. Am I just missing this somewhere or did Fitbit omit this vital information?

Exactly. My inspire HR is very finicky when I charge it. I like going into the app to see if it is indeed charging and not disturb my Fitbit (and then plead with it to charge again).

Yep. Agree with you there. Got it next to me now but don't want to touch it as the connection on the charger is useless. I normally relied on the % on the app to tell me what it is.

To Fitbit Developers:
One good approach before rolling out such major updates is to follow what Microsoft is going with Outlook: a button to try the new design, and the ability to go back if you don't like it.
You could require that users indicate what they didn't like before allowing them to go back; this way you get a lot of free customer insights. At the same time you don't anger your customers by rolling out a new design that they hate (which is very much the case with this new, dumbed down design).
Any benefits at all in showing battery level vs percentage, for example? Because I fail to see s single advantage.

I have a Luxe - battery % on my screen is font size 4. Not the easiest to see and I never used it in the past.

if your Fitbit battery drains more than 15% each day, make sure that Wi-Fi on it is connecting to whatever router you are using (or modem). Apparently as it tries to connect through Wi-Fi it uses a lot of power and I discovered that correcting the login on the Watch itself fixed it to where it only loses less than 15% per day, unless I record an exercise that uses GPS.

Was a dedicated Fitbit user. But gonna sell it now due to this horrible new app. Useless. Couldnt just leave the battery icon up and give a realistic reading????
Going to switch to another tracker company.
So disappointed.

I agree. I have been seeking alternatives because I shouldn't have to replace a fitness tracker every 18 mos because it dies. I'm assming it's a battery issue but could never get a legit answer or help when the screen completely goes black. This is my 3rd one and now the battery needs charged every other day vs weekly. The topper is I do not like the new dashboard. It's ugly and difficult to see all stats quickly and no % of battery life. The dashboard and ease of use was what was keeping me loyal. That's gone now. There must be good alternatives but I'm bummed.

I don't like the new dash at all and it was better to see the battery % on the dash too.

If you find a comparable device, please let us know. As soon as I find one, I'm ditching Fitbit. Taking away features and downgrading features is not a way to keep customers. Also, the new display sucks and displays stuff I don't want.

Agree 100%

Same....please share as well if you find a comparable device. Anything is better than this new app. Horrible display and useless features.

You won't let anyone vote or comment on your "Product Feedback" board unless we agree to the terms for it (which you don't display). Your changes have put me on the market for an option to Fitbit. I recommended you guys for many years. No longer.

Hallelujah! I'm back on the old app.
For anyone on Android, Google Android Fitbit A P K (without the spaces), download version 3.88, uninstall your current Fitbit app, install the file you downloaded..
To stop it from updating, in the play store go to Fitbit - 3 dots on top - uncheck "enable auto update".

That is NOT what people want or asked for. It doesn't give an actual percentage like the previous proper version did. It's just a guesstimate which doesnt show the actual battery charge. And I'm not pressing the button on my fitbit when its charging as it loosens the charging unit and I have to get it lined up again!!
As you know you've received so many complaints about this and needs sorting as a priority.

I agree with saulster, this new battery Low-Med-Full is not helpful. I, like many people I know, keep our Fitbits on our ankles. We do this as we carry things through the day with our non-dominant hand. In general, I would get 3,000 to 5,000 (on a good day) when the Fitbit Sense 2 is on my wrist. On my ankle, I get anywhere from 7,000 to 10,000 on average. The reason I bring this up is because, when on my ankle, I can't check the battery. So I rely on the Fitbit App to get the battery percentage. Please, please, please fix the app. This should not be entered as a product improvement, since they should never have gone backward and taken away a feature. I also, like others are not enamored with the new look. It looks subpar from before. I see in other posts you want us to not use this "forum" for our critique, however. This is the perfect place for us to state our feelings, and Fitbit should be responsible for passing along our comments to your company as Consumer Feedback. That's how companies work. Not push us off to other areas. In my opinion, instead of pushing us to not use this Forum, state that you will pass along the consumer feedback on the Fitbit app. Thank you.

That does not show %
This is a terrible downgrade - why would you do this?
