For a month now I have owned a new Fitbit Luxe and not been able to set it up on my Pixel 8 Pro via the Fitbit Android app.
I have tried every combination and permutation of trouble-shooting steps many times and it still gives me the "Luxe not found" response after a minute of Searching for the Luxe.
I can't believe a product like this can't easily connect to one of the most popular smartphones on the latest Android OS.
Can someone please provide advice tat is not just pointing to the troubleshooting guide!
I will have to go back to a Scanwatch if this persists.

As a first approach, I'd recommend checking if your mobile device meets the requirements to properly operate with your Fitbit device. For more information, see Fitbit Compatible Devices.
In addition, please confirm if you've tried all the steps provided here Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? in the order listed.

I check the Compatible Devices link. I have the a recent Google Pixel phone on the latest version of Android. No incompatibility issue listed for this.
I also tried the suggested steps yest again in the sequence provided but my brand new Luxe still will not connect to my Google Pixel phone for the first time.
Out of frustration I tried to pair my phone to the Luxe via Bluetooth directly after a Luxe restart. It initially showed as a device to pair with but timed-out trying to pair. No luck here.
I'm out of ideas and would like to know what my final options are to get support.
Given I am using a Google phone, a Google Account what is now a Google FitBit tracker, I am about ready to decide give-up on FitBit and go back to a Scanwatch.

BTW, a few years ago, before my I owned a Scanwatch, I did use a FitBit without any such issues. Could my current issue have something to do with the Google take-over of FitBit such as transferring of my FitBit account to Google?
