I just got a Fitbit Luxe for christmas 2024. Direct purchase from Google store.
My main function is to use the stopwatch feature. Unfortunately after 2 minutes (idle) when I look at my watch (auto Wake) it will display the Main screen time. If i navigate to the stopwatch function, there is no stopwatch running, it will prompt me to start a new timer.
Current Settings. Wake (AUTO), Sleep mode (Off
I have alternated these settings and Reset the Luxe through settings, 10's of times.
I have tested the stopwatch at Idle: 30 seconds, Idle 60 seconds, Idle 90 seconds, Idle 110 seconds, Idle 120 seconds.
2 minutes is the magic number. Below 2 minutes, the stopwatch screen will re-appear with normal functionality. Over 2 minutes, and the Luxe wakes up on the main screen, stopwatch is lost.
Please let me know if this is normal functionality, or if there is a fix? I have not yet factory reset, but looking at this as an option.
My current fix is to change display settings to ALWAYS on. This way the stopwatch never resets.
However, this is a huge battery drain.
