New Luxe is recording “zone” heart rate while lying down

I got this luxe not two weeks ago and it’s heart rate recording is very sus. The first night I didn’t wear the device and it recorded a heart rate above 150 at 4am. This threw off my entire day because of how it affected my “zone” minutes, exercise, and step count! I thought this was a fluke until tonight while wearing my Luxe in bed I watched it record “exercise” for 7 minutes and a heart rate of 118. This fascinates me because somehow this was achieved with only 26 steps (that I didn’t take) during that entire time. I know what 118 rate feels like and I was not even close. If anything I was at resting. Do I have a defective Luxe???

Mine does something similar. 142 BPM will sitting on the sofa. Oximeter confirms my heartrate is roughly half that rate. Seems strange to get Cardiac Zone Minutes while resting. I also get plenty of 110-120 bpm while I'm "at rest". I'm planning to talk to tech support.
