Hi. I need a little help understanding something.

I just bought a fitbit Luxe today. But I see calories and steps recorded for previous days which I obviously did not own it yet. Why? And how do I delete it if possible? Thanks

The calories burned you saw when you set up your Luxe are the result of your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR). Your BMR is the rate at which you burn calories as a result of maintaining vital body functions. These functions include breathing, heartbeat and brain activity, among others. Your BMR usually accounts for at least half of the calories you burn in a day.

When you created your Fitbit profile, you entered your gender, age, height and weight. Your profile and Luxe use that data to configure your daily BMR. Those pre-existing burned calories won't hurt your stats. It's normal because Fitbit knows you're breathing and moving about so those calories can't be removed from your account. The number of burned calories changes, based on your activity level as you can see on this help article.

By the way, I moved your post to the Luxe board to keep the forums organized.
