1. How can I determine which is the latest version or update this Luxe has? How do I look up what that current version number is?
2. I want to extend battery life as much as possible. How do I set it up where the screen lights up the least often or only manually when I double click the screen? Right now I move my wrist and it lights up. That is too much. Thank you.

You're not sounding stupid, @NewSuttonGirl . You're sounding like someone who wants to know more about their Fitbit. Mine is a tad over two years old, but a firmware update isn't something you'd really notice, or at least I don't. The latest update was announced and it's 194.61, so you're not yet at the latest one. The app should always look the same. When there is a firmware update, you'll see a notice at the top of the app, so you can tap on it to receive it.

Hi @NewSuttonGirl the latest firmware is listed in this first post - click to read. Updates are rolling, so everyone doesn't get them at once. You can locate your version number on your app. Tap on your avatar on the upper left, then tap on your device picture. You'll see the information at the top of the screen. I have the Luxe with Version 58.20001.188.58
As for changing things for better battery life, start at Page 15 of the user manual and see what you can do. click for the user manual

Thank you for the instructions.
My Luxe version is 20001.188.58. So it’s almost like yours except my version # doesn’t begin with “58” like yours.
Does this mean that I have the latest firmware update 194.61?

Would seem we're both waiting for the newest firmware. It can often take two weeks or so for everyone to receive it. Considering Fitbits are used world wide, I guess we'll need to wait until it's our turn.

Ok. I wasn’t sure if there were some way to tell looking at the app whether you can see if the latest update is on the device.
Just like when I received my first Luxe 2 1/2 months ago, I had to download an “update” but I’m not sure if that were an older update or the new one. Is there a difference in the app’s appearance? I don’t mean to sound stupid.

Answer to qu2: If you scroll up on Fitbit you should be able to go through some settings. There is one that says ‘screen wake’ and it should currently be blue and say auto. If you click it, it will change to manual, meaning your watch will only turn on when you tap the screen instead of when you move your wrist
