Notifications are not coming through my Luxe

Bought a luxe Saturday from Best Buy spent a few good hours trying to get text/call notifications to come through on luxe from iPhone. No luck went through all the steps and articles. Nothing thought maybe it was faulty exchanger with new one today at Best Buy and no luck. Honestly super disappointing. Will be returning if can’t be resolved

Hi, @Mobarth , do you also have another device (like an iPad) that also has the Fitbit app installed?

@Mobarth Also double check that you don't have the Do Not Disturb turned on. Swipe down from the top of the screen and make sure DND Mode is Off.

Thanks for the suggestion! Unfortunately it is on “off” mode already.

Hi, @Mobarth glad to hear DND is off.  But do you have another device with Fitbit app, for instance an iPad or other tablet?  Because that could be the issue.

sorry ignore that!  I see you don’t…

Is your Luxe syncing normally?  Are your steps updating in your app?

From the opening screen on your iPhone click on the person photo/icon top left - that will take you to the account screen.  On the account screen scroll down to find the + set up a device.

Hi!
Syncing normally. The strange thing is I can get my Snapchat, Instagram, other app notifications. Just no calls or texts. I have them both clicked on in the notification setting as well!

Hmmm… that is curious!  I don’t have an iPhone so I don’t know if it has a test call setting?  On my Android, in the notifications area of the app there are 3 dots top right and clicking on them allows me to send a test call, and once I have done that my calls come through.

If you don’t have that, I would suggest disabling all notifications (assume that is an option on iPhone as it is on Android) and then resetting them.

Since your Luxe is syncing normally and you are getting other notifications, most of the usual fixes aren’t relevant.  But my best bet would be to disable ALL notifications and then try adding in just calls or calls and texts and see if you can get them working one by one.

Please let us know how it goes.
