I just received a brand new luxe. No matter which troubleshooting steps I do and I have done ALL of them multiple times it just won’t give me notifications. I had the same issue with my charge 5 and thought the luxe would be better. It’s not. Is there a reason for this?? I like the look and size but I NEED to see my notifications! Help!

Hi, @mchili , please could you let us know what phone/tablet you use with your Luxe and also specifically what troubleshooting steps you have already tried - otherwise any help offered may just repeat what you have already done.

@Julia_G I have an iPhone, I have restarted the Luxe, unpaired it, re-paired it, turned bluetooth off and on, forgotten the device then repaired it and re-allowed notifications, restarted it via the charger button, all of these steps MULTIPLE times as well as restarting my phone and the only notifications I get are the calendar and other app notifications, NONE for the text or phone calls.. I think this is a major flaw with with the newer trackers or maybe the iPhone.. my Apple Watch never has an issues but I like to use the Luxe as an alternate smaller wrist "watch"..

H, @mchili your info about also using your Apple Watch may be the source of the problem. It is a limitation of Bluetooth that it can only connect to one device at a time. If possible, when you are using your Fitbit instead of your Apple Watch could you disconnect it from Bluetooth on your phone? Even when you are not wearing it, it is possible to that your Apple Watch is “capturing” your notifications.

@Julia_G Thank you for your reply and suggestion, I appreciate you taking the time ... but I really do not believe this is the issue. When I have my charge 5 attached (and of course, the Luxe isn't at that time), it does show notifications (most of the time, not all the time) plus when I am out somewhere with the Luxe on, my Apple Watch is no where near my phone and the Luxe still does not capture the notifications.. the bluetooth on an iPhone is capable of connecting to multiple devices, ie, bluetooth AirPods, etc, which I will have connected the same time as the Apple Watch and use together when I wear the Apple Watch.. so I do not believe this is the issue. It seems like a very common and complex problem with Fitbit devices..
Update: @Julia_G the iPhone can connect to multiple devices see the quote below:
How Many Devices Can I Connect to My iPhone? Apple recommends that you keep the number of connected Bluetooth devices to three or four for practical purposes, but an iPhone can support up to seven.
@Julia_G I think I figured out the problem. I noticed I still had my charge 2 attached and as soon as I removed it I began to get notifications on my luxe! Hope it keeps up 🤞
