Notifications are not coming through my Luxe

Hi, I got my Luxe yesterday and am very pissed at how the notifications (don't) work with my Huawei P30 Pro.

I know there are many settings to check and I'm pretty sure I configured it all right. The thing is, if I restart my Luxe and "Send a test call notification" from the Fitbit app, it works only once. I do this test call one more time right after the first one ends without closing the Fitbit app or even switching to a different screen, but there is no notification.

Maybe someone can deduct from this what the fix can be? Would really appreciate your help.

Hi there, @cheder22. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Luxe before reaching out.

In addition to the steps you've done so far, please try the following:

  1. On your phone, open the Settings app > Apps and notifications > Apps.
  2. Tap Fitbit > Battery.
  3. Turn off the Power-intensive prompt option.
  4. Tap Launch.
  5. Turn off the Manage automatically option, and turn on the Auto-launch, Secondary launch, and Run in background options.
  6. Tap OK.

Note that you may see a message on your phone related to power consumption and apps scanning in the background. If you follow the steps in this message, the Fitbit app can’t run in the background and certain features may not work properly. Repeat the steps above to enable the Fitbit app to run in the background.
