Notifications are not coming through my Luxe

My new luxe has had issues receiving notifications since I set it up. No I do not have do not disturb on and it is not on sleep mode. My notifications are turned on from my Fitbit app as well. I had an inspire 2 before this one and it worked just fine. Now that I’ve “upgraded” I may get 2-5 notifications from my phone a day where I used to be able to read every text and see every phone call that I received on my inspire.

Hi there, @Ktmarz. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Luxe. I understand how you must be feeling. I'll be glad to help you with this!

To better assist, may I know if you're using the same mobile phone you used with your Inspire 2? If so, is your Inspire 2 still connected to your phone's Bluetooth settings? If this describes your issue, please try the steps below in the order listed:

  • Unpair your Luxe and Inspire 2 from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Luxe.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Luxe.
  • Set up notifications again.
  • Once your Luxe is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Luxe first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

I want to say thank you! I never thought about the fact that my inspire was still connected on my phone’s Bluetooth because it was disconnected from my Fitbit account. I disconnected it from bluetooth and my notifications worked all day today. I really appreciate it!!
