On the Luxe screen, what is the small dot at the base? Looks like a camera?

I just got a new Fitbit Luxe and on the 2nd day of wearing it I noticed that under direct sunlight/ flashlight - you can see a small dot at the base of the display. It looks like how you would expect a camera lens to look. I've tried searching online for all the specs of the fitbit luxe, but I can't find any information on what it is and it's function? Anyone have any ideas?!
