Option to add alarms on Luxe from the Fitbit app

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I want to add alarms to my luxe like I did on my other fitbits. Those silent alarms are pretty vital you me and the main point of having a Fitbit besides the fitness factor. I can’t seem to find any way to add an alarm while on the app, and when I have added alarms by entering them on my luxe watch (which is a HUGE pain), they don’t go off. Is there a way to set up alarms ON THE APP as I have always done with all my other Fitbit devices in the past? I am having a lot of buyers remorse, I truly hope there is a way to set alarms like before, or I wouldn’t have bought the luxe.

Hi there, @Red30. Welcome to the Community Forums. We‘re taking your comments and sentiments in regards to our products and services into consideration.

Please note on Fitbit Luxe there's no way to add alarms on the Fitbit app, just on the Fitbit device itself. For more information, see How do I manage alarms on my Fitbit device?

I totally agree. I prefer to do things on the fitbit app.

MarreFitbit,

Is this correct that you can't set silent alarms on the Fit bit app anymore with the Luxe?

That was one of my main use cases.  I have had a fitbit Alta for 4 years.

Wow, so disappointing, I thought this would replace my fitbit Alta, because the Alta battery is dying and won';t hold a charge, but between not being able to read the Luxe and losing the silent alarm feature, this might be going back.

What is the next replacement for Alta?  Is there any fitbit that has similar features that is still a smaller size?

I really don't want a big one, but if I have to, then I'd go with Apple.

Sorry Fitbit, but you might be pushing your customers away by your own lack of understanding of customer needs and failing to pay attention to your loyal  customers.

Or both!  But don't drop great features that existing customers use!

I agree, losing the silent alarms might be a No Go for me.

Hello @Ccollins310 ,

Inspire 2 still retains alarms setting from app and has a very similar form factor of Alta.

The Inspire2 has the silent alarms so I am trying that one.   Can’t find a good display that is readable but at least it still has the silent alarm.  I will be returning the Luxe.

Thank you Fit4Energy!

I did buy the Inspire2 and will return the Luxe.
maybe try Garmin next time.

Gonna try the inspire 2, and send the luxe back. It is cheaper and get 12 month of Fitbit premium instead of the 6 with the luxe. Loved the look and band on flex but prefer to use app over on screen for settings, too hard to maneuver.

Correct. You can NOT set any alarm on the app. I also had the Alta, I replaced it with this one and really wish I hadn’t. I’ve been using my Fitbit since 2014 and was excited for the Luxe, but now I regret it. The interface is harder and having to do things from the watch take so much more time and is more complicated than the app or Alta, or any of my previous devices. Even when I take the time to go into my watch to set all my alarms, they don’t seem to work. I’d stick with the Alta, or go with the Apple Watch.

I went with the inspire 2.

Same. I wouldn't have bought it if I had realised that you couldn't set the alarms on the app like my previous fitbit 😞

The alarms I have set on my Luxe no longer work either. Only had it since end of November 21

The inspire 2 does!
I returned the Luxe and bought an Inspire2.

Really disappointed in Fitbit that they don’t seem to take customer input seriously.

Also, heard Garmin is better.

I came to the forum to say the exact same thing.. as it seems tons of other users have too. for goodnes sake please add the alarm function back on the app for the lux.

I had an inspire 2 but returned it for the lux. Inspire2 is too large… lux is the only thing that will fit me… but this alarms thing is so annoying.
