Pairing Luxe to New Phone

I recently upgraded my cell phone from a Google Pixel 4 to 6a. I was not able to "unpair" or "forget" my Luxe from my Pixel 4 before I traded it in at the store. I want to connect my Luxe to my new phone via Bluetooth, and when I search for available devices on my phone, it sees my Luxe, but does not pair. Is there a way to pair them when I cannot "unpair" from my previous phone?

@jaclynray87 first, let's swipe down on the Luxe. Are DND and Sleep mode off?

Otherwise, let's go into the fitbit app and setup notifications

When changing phones

  • Download the fitbit app
  • Log into your fitbit account
  • Approve every requested permission.
  • Setup notifications.

Hi @jaclynray87 As your old phone is (presumably) now out of bluetooth range it should not affect the Luxe pairing with your new phone. Ar3 you trying to pair it through the Bluetooth settings g's on your phone? If so, that is not the way to do it. You need to go to the fitbit app and log in to your a count, then go to your account page and select the Luxe and tell the app to sync. 8f it won't sync then have a look at THIS Help Article on syncing  problems.

Thanks for the reply. I am not having any trouble syncing in the Fitbit app. But I am not receiving any notifications on my Fitbit for text messages, phone calls, calendar notifications, etc. I have turned Bluetooth settings off and on, I have checked that all of my permissions are turned on for the Fitbit app, etc. Are there any other troubleshooting suggestions you have?

Thank you so much! I had not gone through the "setup notifications" in the Fitbit app. It was syncing with the app, but not my phone. Resolved!! Thanks again!
