Recent change of heart rate display on Fitbit App

I've had my Luxe for 10 months and have maintained my Premium membership. I've daily checked my Heart Rate responses to getting out of bed or standing still. The screen background colour on my Android phone for the Heart Rate graph used to be dark and there was an arrow in the top right hand corner to expand the graph making it reasonably easy to read the time and Heart Rate. The last week or so that screen colour has changed to a white background, with no arrows in the corner so the graph can no longer be expanded. In the Sleep mode my screen background is still dark and with the expansion arrow, so no change there. Now if I move my finger across the small graph for my Heart Rate it's too sensitive and changes so rapidly it's difficult to hold still sufficiently to take a reading. My husband is using my old Fitbit and doesn't have Premium membership and his screen is the same as mine is now. It looks as if I've lost a feature which was on Premium, unless Fitbit have removed that or I need to uninstall and reinstall the App to get that feature back. Has anyone else had the same thing happen?

Hi, @Shedor, welcome to the community, there's been a recent update to the Fitbit app on your phone (mine is now 3.77 (37745021). It is not usually possible to revert to older software versions.

My HR display looks like this -

Placing my finger on the graph gets a dotted reference line & tile with the time & HR.

You may find this article of interest How do I track heart rate with my Fitbit device?

I hope this helps.

Thanks for the confirmation, it's helpful to know that's what mine looks like now and I have the same version as you with the numbers 512746060 after. However, I find this screen too sensitive and the graph too compressed; I preferred the older version, if it's the update that's altered it. I've been using and happily reading the heart rate ever since I had the Fitbit but with the inability to expand the heart rate graph on the App, I now find it less user friendly. I tried going onto the dashboard on my laptop to see if I could access my heart rate graph on a larger screen but the dashboard only gives a resting heart rate tile and no graph of the continuous reading and I have all the tiles that are available at present on my dashboard; it says more will become available and I would certainly find that useful.

Thanks for the useful response 🙂

Also, how do I go about changing the Jogger status that the Community has now given me. I'm anything but a Jogger having had chronic fatigue for 32 years and using the Fitbit to help pace and monitor POTS !!

I found this screen shot on a YouTube video that shows what the Heart rate screen used to expand to and show. So much easier to check and better than what I'm seeing now !!

Hi, @Shedor, the "Jogger" ranking is just a notional tag, all tags are related to running & walking (I've never "raced" 5K that's for sure) The tags are related to the number of posts you have contributed.

Cheers
