Returning to Fitbit; hoping this time - for good (New Luxe Owner)

Good evening all, hope you're all safe.

A quick note really; I've been using Garmin for the last few years after being a Fitbit bod before that - and I'm glad to be back. There's nothing out there that beats this Fitbit ecosystem, and that's a fact.

Did previously own and have problems with the Charge2 and the Ionic devices, but I return now awaiting delivery of a new Luxe - I wanted something sleek, smart and I can't wait to try it out.

Looking forward to getting my fitness head back on and I feel inspired to kick on with the motivation I know my detailed daily data will give me. In the meantime, does anyone have any Luxe tips, advice, and general information that might get me up to speed? I'm sure the community will fill me in.

Anyway, thanks for your time.

Welcome back @SunsetRunner!

The Luxe is SO MUCH EASIER to see in the daylight in comparison to some of the other slim trackers Fitbit offers, so that is a plus!  There's also SP02 monitoring after the first 4 nights of wearing your device to bed.

Okay, an unfortunate update - 23rd November 2021:

So, I've had my new Luxe now for 2 days. It's going back to the shop. Some things just don't change.

I've had syncing issues, constant HR dropouts, and quite frankly the connected GPS is so far out (I expected a bit of leeway as there is no onboard chip), it's not even worth using to track mapped runs.

Bitterly dissapointed as the tracker itself looks lovely. But, as with all of the other Fitbit products I've had over the years, there's just not alot going on for the hardware / continuous glitches in software. I'll be going back to the other brand going forward.

Such a shame.

Okay - further update - 25th November.

I haven't quite ditched Fitbit just yet. Grabbed an Inspire 2 in the Black Friday Sale, and first impressions are already a lot better than the Luxe. HR is reading well so far, the OS is a bit more responsive, and so far no glitches when syncing on the mobile app. Maybe going cheap is not a bad thing!

We shall see how the next few days go....
