Screen Wake isn't working on my Luxe

For some reason my Luxe has lost the ability to be switched to automatic mode for the watch face. I know how to go into settings on the device and change it but when I go into that option it’s on manual and dark and the touch screen won’t let me change it. Super frustrating since there are plenty of time in the day when I want to be able to look at my watch without using two hands haha

Hi there, @Ms.Mack. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Luxe. We‘re taking your comments and sentiments in regards to our products into consideration.

As @JohnnyRow has mentioned, it seems that you've set your Luxe into Sleep Mode. When the sleep mode setting is on:

  • Notifications, goal celebrations, and reminders to move are muted.
  • The screen's brightness is set to dim.
  • The Always-On Display clock face is turned off.
  • The screen stays dark when you turn your wrist.
  • The sleep mode icon illuminates in the quick settings.

To turn off Sleep Mode, swipe down from the clock screen. Tap a setting to adjust it. For more information, see How do I navigate my Fitbit device?

Hope that helps.

That probably means you are in 'Sleep Mode' which keeps screen dim, prevents notifications, and prevents 'Screen Wake'.  You can get out of Sleep Mode in the full Settings, or in Quick Settings.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
