Set up of new Fitbit not working

Replacing an Alta with a Luxe. Have deleted the Alta, but still insists I need to download the Mobile Tracking App.  I’ve done it.  But still requests it. Won”t see the Luxe. Help?

This happened to me as well. Fiddling with the bluetooth settings on my iphone didn't help. I ended up having to delete and reinstall the app. Then, everything worked like it should.

I needed to reboot properly. Press the button on the USB plug 3 times.

Having same problem, keeps telling me to download app. App is downloaded and bluetooth is paired. Won't stop telling me to download app.  I rebooted but message still stays there.  I'm on hold and hopefully someone will answer and help me.

I had the same problem.  I have an Iphone...I deleted the app off of my phone and then reinstalled.  I have now been able to set up the Luxe on my phone.  Hope this will work for you as well.

I have done everything they say to do.  Nothing has helped.  How did you solve the problem?

My problem was resolved.  I had used the app on my PC for my Alta and thought I could use it for the Luxe, but you can only use the mobile app on phone for luxe.  When I called he patiently walked me through the process.  On the mobile app I did "add a device", it prompted me to "replace luxe" I tried to add improperly, when I said yes, it walked me through the process, updating and setting it up. Easy! I appreciate the customer service I received.
