Step Count is Incorrect

Last week I had 2 days in a row with the same exact number for steps. I thought it was weird, but could happen. Today I noticed the same. 8,014 on Friday. Same for Sat. However, I KNOW when I went to bed Sat. night I was only around 4,000 steps because I looked. Plus, I didn’t do my regular walk, so there’s no way I would be at 8K. I tried to refresh and log out, but it’s showing the same. Not only does the new app look horrible, but now I don’t trust it.
There have been other days I see the same exact number of steps for 7+ days in a row, but once I close and re-open the app, it corrects itself.
I really didn’t want to go to the Apple Watch bc I like the slim band. But now I’m sure I will be switching.

Same thing with me. This is very annoying. And I KNOW it’s not accurate bc the mileage is completely different and when you go into the day itself and look at the breakdown of steps in that day. It’s completely different.

I’ve had similar issues. Making sure I get 10k, seeing it accurately in the app, too, then next day the number changes. Happened again last night. Maybe I’m sleep walking backwards 🙃

Ditto! Hopefully more responses will get us a bug fix... My device seems to be recording accurately, but the app is not syncing the correct number of steps. It duplicated a step count for multiple days, and even after I updated the app, I'm still missing over 8,000 steps from yesterday.
