I don't understand why I burn fewer calories swimming than I do walking the same amount of time (according to my Luxe). I wonder about the accuracy because my heart rate soars when I swim laps but not when I walk. And everyone says swimming burns more calories than walking. . . what gives?

I was wondering the exact same thing yesterday...I am just getting back to swimming and have a set I do of 10 laps x 8 with 45 seconds to one minute rest between. My heart rate feels like it is up - especially after set 4 or 5 but looking a results, I burned only 171 calories during the entire 30 minutes. In comparison, I do a cardio fitness workout once to twice a week, my heart rate is much higher than swimming but doesn't "feel" like it does when I am swimming. It just seems like something is "off" between heart rate recorded and actual calories burned. I wish I could see heart rate DURING a swim workout like you can running, walking, etc. I haven't been able it to do anything other than have the timer running during the swimming shortcut workout. I have HR Charge 5 but am having same issue...
