When I go under Target Heart Rate Zones it shows my heart rate spiked to 172 at 1:25am. When I look at the same time under “Beats per Minute” it shows it at 66bpm. Why the discrepancy? The 172 has me worried, my resting heart rate is usually around mid 60s.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @JacqAsh.
Thank you for your question.
Target Heart Rate Zones are calculated on a different way than Resting Heart-Rate. For detailed explanation, please visit this article.

I looked this morning and there were no spikes, then I looked after I worked out and it showed a spike to 180bpm at 1:30am, the data had changed, is this a known glitch?

Thanks for your response, @JacqAsh.
In this case, I would recommend following the next steps:
- Log out from the Fitbit app
- Reboot your phone
- Log back into the Fitbit app
Hope this helps.

I also have significant discrepancies between the "Target Heart Rate Zones" chart and the "Beats Per Minute" chart. (I have a Fitbit Inspire 3.) For example, on July 27, 2023 at 12:04 AM, my heart rate is shown as 153 bpm on the "Target Heart Rate Zones" chart. On the "Beats Per Minute" chart for the same date, my heart rate is shown as 40 bpm at 12:00 AM and 12:05 AM (it doesn't display the exact bpm for 12:04 AM). See screenshots below. There are significant discrepancies for 5 out of the last 5 days.
This has been an ongoing issue. On July 16, 2023, I logged out of the app, rebooted my phone, and logged back in. On July 23, 2023, I restarted my Fitbit watch. These actions did not fix the issue. Why is there this discrepancy?

Hello @jheart and welcome to the Community. You are correct that this is an ongoing issue. There seems to be a problem with the zone minute heart rate graph. I have Premium, so I get a sleeping heart rate graph that has more detail than the daily heart rate graph. I get those spikes in my zone minute graph, too. I never see them on my sleeping heart rate graph. It doesn't matter what device you use.
You posted in the Luxe forum. I have gotten them with a Versa 3 and a Sense 2. I've seen graphs like yours posted in every device forum. I ignore them.
