The brides Lux has become very unstable, won't wake, battery reports inaccurate, limited life

This was bought about 2 years ago.  We are both long time FitBit users.  Over the past couple of months it won't wake up when tapped, and does not wake up when looked at.  I have checked the settings and they are set to do exactly that.  Again I am a long time user and very familiar with all the settings that would cause this behavior.  They are set properly.  I have restarted it several times to no avail.  Then, when it won't wake up no matter what and appears totally dead I'll connect it to the charger and get a reading of at least 50% battery.  I can't tell exactly how long the battery is really working.  The firmware is up to date.

Other then restarting it I don't see much else I can do.  Has anybody seen this kind of behavior before?

I would contact Support and ask for a Battery Test, which will give you a diagnosis of what's going on and what can be done to help.

Mine has been behaving the same way for months now. If I uninstall the app from my phone and re-install, then out it on the charger, it corrects itself but only for a day or so at most. I suspect it's because the bluetooth connection gets lost somehow. So that's another issue to try to solve. Frankly, I'm ready to toss in the lake. If anyone has any ideas, I'd be more than happy to listen.
