The stopwatch on my Luxe won't work

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Several times now, I've been unable to reach the stopwatch on my luxe. Instead I am stuck on the timer. I use the stop watch a lot but not the timer. How do I stop this from happening? Is it possible to switch which feature is easy to get to?

Also can the timer be set for more than an hour?

When you get to the timer, note the small up arrow at the bottom of the screen.  Put your finger on that arrow and swipe up to switch to the stopwatch; from stopwatch, swipe the other way to get back to timer.  It looks like the timer limit is one hour, but not sure about that.

Hi there, @Rapteur. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post. I understand where your concern is coming from.

To use the stopwatch on your Fitbit Luxe, please follow @JohnnyRow's directions or you can see How do I set a timer or use the stopwatch on my Fitbit device?

Hope that helps.

I know how to use the stopwatch. Sometimes I cannot access it, however. I
attempt to swipe down and it literally does not work. It stays on the
timer. I do not know why this happens, but it has happened to me three
times now and I've only had the Luxe a couple weeks. The only way I can
make it work again is by resetting the Luxe.

Maybe that was just a typo, but if not, you are wiping wrong way.  From Timer, swipe up, not down, to get to stopwatch.

Correct, I swipe up and it goes nowhere. It is stuck on timer. In fact it
is stuck _in_ a timer if i recall correctly, and the only option I have is
to set a timer. I primarily use the fitbit as a stop watch as well as a
tracker and when I encounter this, it's not because I am swiping the wrong
way... trust I have attempted to swipe literally every direction in hope
it'll do something for me 🙂

When I get to the timer, there is no up arrow in these instances. It is stuck on either the timer itself or it is stuck on selecting the time to count down for the timer. This is not always the case. I can often access the stopwatch, but when this occurs I can no longer access the stop watch until I rest the fitbit by using the charging cable... that feature in and of itself is somewhat ridiculous. I don't have the charging cable on me most of the time when I am seeking to reset the fitbit!

The Timer app includes a stopwatch. I have used it several times so I know where to find it and how to use it. The stopwatch is no longer on my Luxe. The Timer is there and functional, just no more stopwatch.

Fitbit app does not have a reinstall or update selection so there is nothing I see that can be done to reinstall the stopwatch.

I can only reset this by restarting the Luxe. But it will happen again on the next day or even in the next hours…

I went through the same thing. There was just timer not stopwatch. I don know why it happened. The only way to fix it was restating luxe. I think it's a bug.
