When will the Fitbit App for IOS be adjusted for the Luxe?

I received my Fitbit Luxe today but could not make it operative because I would have to update my Fitbit App, the App told me. I have already the latest version installed,  as always automatically.

I had the same issue. I deleted the Fitbit app from my phone and then reinstalled. After this I was able to connect my Luxe. However, I am having connectivity issues..... sometimes taking a long time syncing and when I go into Bluetooth settings I can see the luxe connecting/disconnecting every few seconds. When I was updating the clock face a notification would pop up every few seconds that I wasn’t connected.

Sorry, I did not know that the screenshot would not be displayed. After selected the Luxe, I got a Link for "Einrichtung"/Configuration. A message was displayed saying: "Zum Einrichten dieses Produkts musst du deine Fitbiat-App aktualsieren"/"For the configuration of this product the Fitbit app needs to be updated". My Fitbit-App is the latest version... (I live in Switzerland).

I had a long chat with a nice service person, we checked various settings. No solution. Chat was suddenly disrupted, without goodbye and giving a perspective. They seem to have technical problems...

If I delete and then reinstall the app do I lose my data

No,. After the download you will be asked to login again, and all your data are displayed.
