Why Can't I connect my luxe to my MacBook Air

I have the app on my MacBook but when I look for the Fitbit luxe its not there and it is not connecting to Bluetooth

Hello @lajlaK and welcome to the Community.  You need a compatible smartphone or tablet to set up your Luxe.  You can't set up a Luxe, or any current Fitbit, on a Mac or a PC.  Sorry.
