Will Fitbit Luxe track my data if I have tattoos?

I currently have the Inspire HR which I’m really wanting to upgrade. I’ve tried 2 Versas, both of which do not track my heart rate or sleep through my tattoos (both wrists are tattooed). My current inspire works absolutely fine so I’m not sure why Fitbit can’t use the same technology in newer models. 

I’d love to have the Luxe or a newer Inspire, so I’m wondering if anyone knows how likely it is these models will work through my tattoos as my current Fitbit does? Thanks for any advice in advance!

Hi @stackbit Unfortunately the only way to know if a device will work with tattoos is to try it. Do you know someone you could borrow one from?

I thought that would be the case! I don’t unfortunately, I’ll just have to buy and try!

Hi, @stackbit, I suggest you buy from a local retailer with a clear returns policy and open the packaging carefully so it can be returned as purchased in the best condition.
