My old luxe died. No amount of "restarting" or pushing buttons or charging fixed it. Still dead.
I got a new one. I attached it to the charger and came back and there was a white x with a red circle. It was never paired. I could not restart it (pushing button 3 times with 1 sec in between). Holding the button did nothing. It seems frozen, is already not paired.
Now I have two luxes that don't work.

Same! I've read so many similar stories on here since purchasing mine too. It all seems related to the firmware update in December, but support doesn't see that. I've spent hours chatting with support and they end up wanting to send a new one. NOT WORTH IT! I'll be returning mine to the place I purchased it.
