10000 steps

ANSWERED
I just started using fitbit. According to it I walk 12000 steps a day. That's just my average day without exercise. Will I lose weight using the fitbit ? Or is my body already used to that level of activity and won't shed extra?

If you go to your Dashboard and click the settings icon on Steps (it looks like a cog), you will be able to increase the number of steps required to hit your daily goal.  If you are hitting 12,000 steps on average, why not increase your goal to 20,000?

Losing weight is more about what you eat than exercise.

Fitbit wont help you lose weight anless you eat less.

Its great that you are being active!

That would completely depend on how many calories you're eating.

What in the world do you do all day that gets you to 10K without excercise?  I need that job!

You need to become a teacher!  My average day is 12500+!

That is a lot of walking.  I would be concerned that your body can become conditioned to the same exercise, so I would suggest doing something different if you wanted to increase your exercise.
