I posted in march that i had lost 90 pounds. Well as of today i am down 119 pounds and feeling great. I finally think that i have found that happy medium. I havent had the urge to have a cheat meal or its more like a cheat binge and feel bad about it later. I have found some great workout programs that have helped me with my weight loss, and my meal plan is on point right now. Don't ever get up. I still have a bunch to lose but im loving the challenge right now!!!!

This is amazing, kudos to you!
Can you provide some more details about your eating and workout plan? I’m sure people looking to lose large amounts of weight would be interested. Did you log your eating, and if so, did you use Fitbit, MyFitnessPal or something else? Have you kept your deficit constant, or did you scale it down at some point? How many times a week do you work out, and what sort of things do you do?

I use to log what i ate and calories I took in on the fitbit app but the longer i have been doing i just know 't what I am and aren't eating. So for the eating side of it i eat 6 small meals a day. 3 main courses and 3 snacks. I try to keep my main courses around 500 to 600 calories and my snacks around 300 calories. i make sure that each main course has protein, veggies, and carbs. all of my snacks usually consist of cottage cheese, triscuits, fruits, Greek yogurt, etc. My caloric intake has pretty much been the same throughout the whole process. So with the workout portion i have found this great trainer on bodybuilding.com named Jim Stoppani who has some amazing programs on there. I started his shortcut to shred program 3 weeks ago and have lost 19 pounds and gaining muscle along the way like something fierce. As of right now i workout 6 days a week with one day of rest and I feel great, and I don't feel tired. If there is anyone out there that reads this and feels like they don't know where to start, neither did I. If i can help in any way just ask me cause it never hurts to ask. Thanks

That is a wonderful story, @Tallguy31! Great to hear that you have been able to develop a program you can stick to. That is one of the most important aspects of changing a lifestyle - if a person can't stick to a program, it won't succeed long term.

Thanks for the encouragement. I have a question, I have increased my water intake to the requried 64 + ounces and it seems like I have gained 5 pounds in about 2 weeks. I have not gained any weight in the last 2 years and this have me concerned. Any suggestions.

might want to keep an eye on your sodium intake which will make you retain water. Also drinking soda will get ya too. I had to stop drinking them and after a week or so the weight fell off. If this doesn't work you can buy a water pill that will help you get it out of your system, but always talk to your doctor before taking anything you haven't taken before.
