21 y/o working on losing 40 pounds. needs friends!

Hi everyone! I'm Justin, I'm 21, and I live in the sunny paradise known as Arizona. I work in the healthcare field, so I'm always moving around during the day, but I just can't seem to get rid of these last 40 or so pounds! Working on finding some friends that will add me on here and let me do challenges with them to keep me motivated to track my foods and increase my step count to finally kick this flab good bye!

 

I don't run, but with downloading "Zombies, Run!" on my phone, that may change! 🙂 I'm looking forward to meeting everyone!

I am right there with you, from not-so-sunny Virginia. I have about 50-70 more pounds to go after losing 50. It was easy to hit my steps when I was walking around college all day. Now that I have graduated, I have to find the time and motivation to take those extra steps. 

I started doing Tabatas in the morning, which is 20 seconds on and 10 seconds off for 4 minutes of a rotation of exercises (situps, pushups, jogging in place, leg lifts, jumping jacks, jump rope...). It definately wakes me up! I am going to try to do a rotation 3x a day but so far I have no worked that into my schedule. I even got my mom a FitBit and started meeting her 2-3x a week to walk about 8,000 steps. It has definately helped!

I'm in Ireland, but feel free to add me.  I joined MFP in January have lost 24 lbs and have approx 24 lbs more to lose.
