Hi everyone!
I got a FitBit in September 2014 and started getting serious about weight loss in November 2014. With the help of my FitBit and eating better foods, I've lost 21 pounds since then! That brought me from 230 pounds to 209 pounds. The weight fell off at first, but I've been stuck around this 210 mark for about 2 months--I just cannot seem to get below 200 which is my next big goal!
Anyway, it's been easy to lose motivation with the scale not behaving how I'd like it to :-). So I was hoping I could make some FitBit friends for some friendly competition and to gain a motivational factor! Please let me know if you'd like to chat, or just request me as a friend and I'd love to accept.

You have done excellent on your weight loss so far! Congrats!
I would search for some groups out there that might fit your needs Im sure you will find some.

I definitely know how you feel. I have been wanting to lose some weight since last year. I want to get back into shape and maybe even run a few races such as the Tough Mudder and Color Run. I have always been an athlete, but not one that went to the gym. I always stayed in shape with my team and by having a coach push me. I recently bought my fitbit hoping that it will help keep me motivated by seeing my progress. I think having people push you will be very beneficial.
Sometimes all it takes is that one random person to help push you.
