Hello everyone!
I'm new to the fitbit world. I just bought my zip yesterday and I am loving it! I can see it all really working for me.
I have it synced with myfitnesspal and I love how easy it all is to use!
Anyways, I am looking for friends with similar goals to mine to keep each other motivated! My ideal friends would be seriously committed, so if you're not ready to bring it - don't bother! 😉
(Is that mean of me to say? lol)
In all seriousness, I am ready to lose this weight and I do it best when I work along with others who are as committed as myself!
Add me if you're interested in being a team! 🙂

Hi there!
I am 35 years old and have recently lost 58 pounds. It's been a long journey and I still have 20 more to go!! I love the fitbit flex and it has been very helpful with my motivation. I like to compare my steps to others as I have a bit of a competitive streak and this will help me keep moving! I will try to add you!!
Good luck!

I'm 27 and looking to lose about 40 pounds. I'd love friends who are serious about getting those steps in! I'm not the top of my friends' list but I love that! It pushes me to put in more work. I also follow along with the leaderboards in groups I'm in to increase my rank. Feel free to add me. 🙂

I'm using my fitbit and logging around 10,000 steps or more most days of the week. I feel like I'm putting more weight on though and would love to have a local fitbit walker to walk with.

Hey there, I am 27 and got my fitbit about a month ago and I love it. I get mad at myself if I don't get my 10,000 steps in. I have been exercising and eating right since dec and have lost about 30 pounds so far. I still have roughly 30 more to go, but I know I am on the right track and I am fully motivated to see it through and keep up my healthy lifestyle. It is always best to have people with you to support you through it. I have been doing this on my own for the most part, and it is hard. But once you have that self motivation you can do anything!!! Feel free to add me as a friend

How do I add you as a friend? I'm not sure. I have lost 47 lbs since last year but put 20 of it back on this year...I'm discourage and have just started really exercising again hard. so we shall see. I need to get back on a watch everything you eat diet, no cheese, no bread. I already eat lots of veggies. and some fruit.

That diet sounds really hard! I had the same problem before with previous weight losses - I would diet really hard, and once the weight was off, I would go back to old habits and put it right back on. Do you think something like portion control would help you feel less restricted while also helping you meet your weightloss goals? This time around, I have been eating a bit of everything in moderation, and it has been really successful because I don't feel miserable or like I'm on a diet! You did it before, and you can definitely do it again - but just thought I would offer some food for thought 🙂

I lost 30 pounds over a year ago with Jenny Craig - and I learned about portion control and what my plate should look like. I stopped because it got expensive but it's been a year and I have not put on any weight - not even a pound! So now I'm going to concentrate on being more active and hopefully lose another 30!

Hi LiNz87
Welcome to Fitbit. My name is Naomi, I have been here awhile and have many friends.
Congrats on your committment. As I read your post, I must admit that I felt sad. You are 26 years old, that is so young to have a weight problem. This is a time in your life to be working, having fun, and enjoying youth. The 20s is an important time in life, and it should also be a happy time for you.
The good news is that because you are 26, you have some advantages over us older folks 🙂
If you need help with diet and exercise, I would love to help you. Best way to contact me is by private message here on fitbit or my blog:
Good Luck

Hi there! I'm Zoey, 27, with quite a few more than 60 to lose 😞 I have been using a WW style app as well as water aerobics, but need an extra kick in the butt to get my steps in! It would be great to have other people to motivate each other 🙂

Hi LiNz87,
I am going to be 25 in 1 week. I am 20lbs and 10weeks into this 95lb journey.
I know I have a lot more to go, but I can't help being proud of what I have already achieved. I would love to encourage and share tips with someone with goals so similar to mine.
