4th July weight loss! Post your goals

Hi all, 

 

After a couple of these keeping me on track ish since mid jan i thought i would start another one, hoping some of you will join me

My husband is in the military and has been deployed since late Jan, he should be back sometime in June my aim was to hit the 209lb mark before he got back but that's looking less realistic after some busy scary weeks with my 2 year old having a cancer scare but as a mini goal I want to be under 216lb by the start of June, then I will be 2st off since he deployed. I have a school reunion in July and my graduation in October so lots to work towards this year!

 

How are you all doing? What are your goals?

I'm in!  I leave for vacation on July 6th so this is perfect timing!

I like the idea of shooting for 70K steps a week.  That with clean eating should do the trick!  Thanks for the motivation!

Finally under 200 lbs! Also, getting closer and closer to my Fourth of July goal weight. Just 9 more pounds to go. That's a just over a pound a week for me to stay on track.

I'm going to adjust my target for July 1st, I'm within 5-lbs of my original goal now! Need to go easy on my C25k program, I think I'm getting shin splints from overtraining. Ouch!

I would love to join.  My birthday is July 2 so that will be my "goal day". I would like to be down a dress size by then... the scales doesnt seem to want to move so I will go by my clothes.  I would like the clothes I have at the moment be loose rather than the tight they are now... They should all probably be a size bigger so if they are loose by July I will be happy! 🙂

I'm in, this is a great motivation:  SW 190 CW 162 GW 150  I am aiming for 10 pounds by July 4th.  I have been averaging 1.5 lbs per week, so it will be close if I stay on track!

Not very high goal but I'm trying to lose a little more tummy fat. I'm in the normal range for 5'7" but these last 5 lbs a clinging to my belly like a baby monkey.

 

We can make the changes that we need to in order to be healthy. 

 

It is great to have company on the journey.

Are you logging food and burning 500 more cals everyday than you consume?  Maybe you are making muscle.

We are making a short term goal for July 4 that is 7 weeks away. Going for 10-15 lbs is plenty for such a short span. 

What do you think is reasonable and achievable?

hello everyone, I was in the mothers day2015 challenge. I would like to be apart of this one as well:)

Wow welcome to everyone who has come over to join us, it's been a busy few weeks here with big essay deadlines and now moving onto revision so still far too much time sitting down but not a lot of choice in it at the moment. I'm down another 2lb this week, it's going slowly but surely so I'm happy with that, 1lb to my mini goal for the start of June should be doable. And just under 4 weeks till my husband gets home should mean im further down by then. I've started couch to 10k and signed up to run race for life, coincidentally on 4th July!

Congrats to the posters who are on target and making their goals. Let's keep going even if we are lagging behind. Recharge, regroup and take those steps. 

Off to the washing machine with a load of wash and a short walk as the clothes get clean. Just ate steamed kale and a little guacomole and hummus. Next a veggie burger with tomato and raw onion.
