Hi all,

After a couple of these keeping me on track ish since mid jan i thought i would start another one, hoping some of you will join me

My husband is in the military and has been deployed since late Jan, he should be back sometime in June my aim was to hit the 209lb mark before he got back but that's looking less realistic after some busy scary weeks with my 2 year old having a cancer scare but as a mini goal I want to be under 216lb by the start of June, then I will be 2st off since he deployed. I have a school reunion in July and my graduation in October so lots to work towards this year!

How are you all doing? What are your goals?

My goal is to get under 220 by the end of June.

Good morning everyone!

So of course today I was down a pound again, which makes me very happy as that is more "in line" with my monthly average.

And even though I doubt to reach my July 4th goal of being under 240, I still hope that, with 2 weeks to go I can pull off another 3 lbs. That would bring my monthly loss to 8.2 lbs and that's right on target. 8-10 lbs a month on a regular basis and I should reach my ultimate goal by end of this year. How awesome would that be!?

I'm nervous about my weigh-in tomorrow. I coud be in the 2teens for the first time in years. I was 220 last Saturday and one pound would put me at 219.

I am SO stoked thinking that I could actually see 199 by the end of this year. Wow.

In europe lots of opportunity to walk all over the wonderful cities to see cathedrals, museums and historic sights. In one month I walked off 6 lbs and my sister lost 12 lbs. Good way to see the cities up close.

Enjoy,

Exercise is awesome but track your food. Lower your calories to lose more weight. Eat lots of veggies, some fruit and lean protein and drink lots of water. Kick the sugar and carbs to the curb and you will continue to lose dress sizes.

Best wishes for good health,

Yikes. Don't double enter your steps as Fitbit does it automatically.

Sooooo bummed by the insane slaughter of innocents in SC. Racism stinks and too many crazy people have guns to act out hate.

Just needed to say that.

Almost 12K in step now at 7:20 pm and I'm going dancing tonight so may hit 14k today.

Now to eat a quick salad.

All the best in your health journies

Hi Mermaid,

Just read about you injecting Victoza daily. It is a newer diabetes drug so watch out for the possible side effects. Hope that it helps you lose the weight and reach your goals.

Best of luck,

Busy weekend.  We're preparing for a road trip across the country and shipping our cats to my parents' place by air.  I have stalled a little on my weight loss, but that seems to be how it goes.  I have a 2-lb week, then a 3-lb week, then a 4-lb week, the back to a 2-lb week.  I've hit my step goal every day this week and got a 40k badge for the first time.  I'm optimistic that I can reach my July goal (4 more pounds) but only if I'm very careful during the road trip.  I'm the only driver, and I've got 4-5 days of 10-12-hrs driving to manage, plus 2 tween-teens.  We're going to hop out every few hours a rest stops and do 5 minute tabata sessions so I don't lose my ground fitness-wise.  I won't hit my step goal but at least it's something.

Wow Shorts that is a lot of driving. Hope that you all enjoy the journey. Check to see if the fitbit gives you steps as you drive and hit bumps. Sounds like you can meet your July goal. I'm rooting for you.

Thanks Barbara. The journey sucks because it's just so long and we are driving non-stop, no time for sightseeing. 2 days for Alberta-Sask-Manitoba but at least 2 more days just to get across Ontario! Then we have to drive back from Ontario to Vancouver Island for August, and pick up my cats from Camp Grandma. My car is getting some serious mileage this summer. Need some good family-friendly audiobooks for the trip. I think I'll take my Fitbit off so I don't get 'driving steps'. I find the Charge HR isn't so bad for that, my Flex was terrible though!

well, why not, Im late but a mini goal is always a good way to stay on track over the long haul. I have my 21 anniversary cruise in September and I would like to lose 15 lbs by then. My ulimate goal is to feel good in a bathing suit again because I love to swim 🙂 So July 4 is about 2 weeks away I would like to lose 4 or 5 pounds (aggressive because I have just ramped up my activity and I always lose more in the beginning)

So many of you are doing so well!! Congrats!  You guys are inspiring.

I'm so annoyed with myself.  Had a weekend (2 weekends ago) celebrating friends' birthdays etc and thought I was being relatively careful in restaurants but gained 2 pounds anyway.  Then my foot started hurting again (wore the wrong shoes to those restaurants) and had to slow down.  ok, back on track.  Way too hot for me to walk outside here, going to hit a treadmill later.  Maybe find something interesting to listen to while on it.

4.5 pounds to go by July 4 for goal.  Doesn't seem likely, but will be happy if I get back on track.

The activity that seems impossible today, will soon be your warm-up
