Hi, I'm new to FitBit. I decided to try FitBit to encourage me to lose weight and so far I'm enjoying it. My Plan Intesity is Hard and my Deficit Goal is -1000 cals. Here's screenshoot of what I did on my first week. I lost 3-4 pounds on that week. Wondering if this plan is ok? Thank you for your time and response!

if it's the first week, much of that might be water weight. see what happens in the next couple weeks.
depending on how much weight you have to lose, 3-4 lbs per week might be just fine. however, at some point, this weight loss should slow down.
when i first started, i lost about 4-5 lbs per week. now, 1 year later, as i close in on my target weight, it's down to about .5-1 lb per week.
(edit: this was my 100th post. don't you feel honored? 😉 )

You are going to lose a lot of water weight in the begining. This is all good though. People who aren't into kickboxing used to get suprised when I would sit at 180 pounds and compete at 165. Usually prepared for two weeks for a fight. However it was serious water loss from intense work outs.
Now that I'm older I sit at 205ish usually. However, I'm trying to get to 195.
Its basically calories in calories out. I don't watch what I eat too much. Played with myfitnesspal which I believe is considerably better in regards to calorie counting, its free, and syncs with fitbit. They basically have more options and things detailed out by the communities.
Good luck man!
